Get expert interior design, renovation, and new build advice before you make expensive decisions
Design Power Session: One Focused Meeting. Game‑Changing Clarity.
For renovators, redecorators, new builds and house‑hunters in Adelaide who want a designer’s brain on their project before the expensive mistakes happen.
If you’re planning a renovation, interior design project, building a new home or house‑hunting with “we’ll fix it later” vibes, you don’t need another Pinterest board. You need an experienced interior designer to work with you, pull your ideas apart (lovingly), and show you what will actually work.
That’s exactly what a Design Power Session is: a fast, focused, two‑hour working meeting to review your plans, problems, and possibilities, or for house-hunting — in person around Adelaide or via Zoom anywhere.
You’ll also receive a complimentary copy of my e‑book Don’t Get Ripped Off By Your Reno (valued at $49.95) to keep you in the driver’s seat with interior designers, builders, and budgets.
Investment: $480 + GST for 120 minutes
Whole home. Two hours. Deep dive.
-
A Design Power Session is a deep‑dive consultation where we use my design brain on your specific home, plans or ideas.
Across two hours, we roll up our sleeves and work through whatever is keeping you stuck or second‑guessing: floor plans, layouts, materials, privacy, noise, light, heating and cooling, or that “is this house even worth renovating?” moment.
You’ll leave with clear direction, practical recommendations and the confidence to move forward — not another vague chat you forget the second you get back in the car.
Two‑Hour Design Power Session – $480 + gst
Available in person (Adelaide & Adelaide Hills) or via Zoom (Australia‑wide).Description text goes here -
Renovators who want to sanity‑check their ideas before talking to a builder.
Homeowners with architectural plans who suspect something’s “off” but can’t quite name it.
People without plans yet who want to talk through layout, privacy, noise and light before engaging an architect or draftie.
House‑hunters considering a “fixer‑upper” and wanting to know what’s cosmetic vs. what’s a money pit.
Anyone overwhelmed by decisions – tiles, tapware, layout, joinery, furniture placement, storage.
If you’re thinking, “I just wish a designer could look at this and tell me what to do,” this is for you.
-
You choose the focus (or we can decide together). Common topics include:
Floor plan review & layout fixes
We go through your plans room by room and look at flow, furniture placement, joinery, storage, circulation and those sneaky “this will drive you mad later” details.Joinery, storage & furniture that architects forget
Many architectural drawings show walls and windows, but no realistic furniture or joinery. We’ll layer in beds, sofas, dining tables, robes and cupboards so you can see whether your layout actually works for real life.Privacy, noise & zoning
We look at who’s sleeping where, what shares a wall with what, and how sound will travel. Kids next to TV walls, toilets off living rooms, studies in the middle of open‑plan chaos — this is where we catch all of that.Air flow, natural light & comfort
We talk window placement, cross‑ventilation, heat gain, cold spots and how light moves through the home during the day. Your home should feel good at 3pm in summer and 7am in winter.Heating, cooling & efficiency pitfalls
We’ll identify where design decisions could blow out your energy bills (hello, giant west‑facing window with no shading) and talk through smarter options.House hunting & “ugly duckling” potential
Bring listings, photos and floor plans. I’ll help you see what’s cosmetic, what’s structural and what it might realistically cost to get the home you actually want.Design direction & selections
If you’re drowning in choices, we’ll map a clear design direction so every tile, benchtop, tap, colour and fabric supports the same story — no more random, beige‑by‑panic decisions.
-
By the end of your Design Power Session, you’ll have:
A clear, professional opinion on your plans and ideas.
A list of specific changes or options to discuss with your architect, draftsperson or builder.
Confidence that you’re not missing hidden problems around privacy, noise, airflow, light or efficiency.
Design direction that feels like you — not another copy‑and‑paste Instagram interior.
You can record notes, screenshots and sketches during the session, and I’ll circle or annotate key plan areas as we talk so you know exactly what to action next.
PLEASE NOTE - we can only cover what can be realistically discussed in a two-hour window. A further Design Power Session can be scheduled.

We dive into your plans, problems and possibilities. This is a working meeting, not a fluffy chat — expect straight talk, new ideas and clear direction. After the session
